Acclaimed Souls-like Lies of P Nominated for Two Awards at The Game Awards 2023; NEOWIZ Releases Original Soundtrack
NEOWIZ, a global game developer and publisher, is happy to share today that its highly popular Souls-like action RPG title Lies of P has been nominated for two awards at The Game Awards for 2023. The title has earned a nomination for Best RPG and Best Art Direction at this year’s show, with the winners set to be announced live on Dec. 7, 2023. Fans can also visit The Game Awards website to vote for their favorite titles in each category. The nominations for Lies of P come after its successful launch in which the title achieved more than one million unit sales in just a month and received positive reception from critics and fans alike for its unique take on the classic fairy tale of Pinocchio and subtle innovations to the Souls-like formula.
NEOWIZ is also excited to share that the Lies of P Original Soundtrack is now available to purchase on Steam for $9.99 and streaming on major platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, Pandora, and more. And, Lies of P will participate in a Black Friday sales on PlayStation™Store: Nov. 17 through Nov. 27 and the Steam Store: Nov. 16 through Nov. 20.
Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action Souls-like game set in the dark, Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. Once a beautiful city, Krat has become a living nightmare as deadly puppets run amok and a plague sweeps the land. Play as a puppet who must fight his way through the city on his unrelenting journey to find Geppetto and finally become human. Lies of P presents an elegant world filled with tension, deep combat and character customization systems, and a gripping story with interesting narrative choices where the more lies told, the more human P becomes. NEOWIZ launched Lies of P worldwide on Sept. 19, 2023. The standard and deluxe editions are available for a MSRP of $59.99 and $69.99 respectively, in digital or physical format on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and participating retailers. The standard edition is also available via the Mac App Store for models with Apple silicon for $59.99. Lies of P is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB, PEGI 16, and USK 16.
