The Sandbox and ALTAVA Announce ALTAVA Club House, a Play-and-Earn Miniature Golf-themed Experience

 

The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, today announced that ALTAVA, a company that brings culture defining brands into the metaverse, will build ALTAVA Club House in The Sandbox, creating a metaverse activation of their successful pop-up store in Seoul the showcased their Bored Ape Golf Club (BAGC) collection.

ALTAVA positions itself at the intersection of technology and fashion, bridging the real and virtual worlds. They bring brands into the metaverse, offering them virtual spaces to share stories – a place where they can feature their digitized collections in a branded and fully customizable environment.

ALTAVA Club House will feature miniature golf-based experiences on ALTAVA’s 3×3 LAND in The Sandbox.
As a continuation of this partnership, BAGC Special Edition class avatars will have utility in The Sandbox. The experience is planned to be ready in 2023, and a further pop-up activation is planned in partnership with The Sandbox.

Over 400 partners have joined The Sandbox, including Warner Music Group, Sueco, Ubisoft, The Rabbids, Tony Hawk, Gucci Vault, The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Richie Hawtin, The Smurfs, Care Bears, Atari, ZEPETO, and CryptoKitties, all following The Sandbox team’s vision of empowering players to create their own experiences using both original and well-known characters and worlds.
